As for it being one of the best. People tend to like it, but I personally don't see it as such. It eats up a lot of Core power, forcing you into a huge grind, The bonus limits you into using only a few weapons and I dislike the look
On the other hand it did ease up the game, as it is a source of MK II material in the first area.
I don't really understand why you feel so empowored by this set at the beginning... The set is very expensive in Core Power, doesn't have a good defense and should only be used with Codename tools.
The only Codename tool avaible at the beginning is the Engelhart, which is a Single-rigged. Those type of weapons already consume a lot of stamina and with the +10% stamina consumption of body gear, it's off the charts.
Even if the attack speed is increased by the set bonus, the arm gears reduces it by 6%. So in the in end, the ASPD isn't that great either.
You already have High impact, so the impact added by the arm gears is useless. Yeah, you have more impact due to the set bonus, but it's really not worth it.
I proved it in a discussion on reddit with someone else having the same opinion as you.
You need to be CP31 to equip the full Angel6 set, without implant. And I really don't recommend getting overleveled. Everytime you fill your tech scrap bar (enough scrap to get a level), your injectables are refilled by one charge per implant equiped. So, if you're overleveled, you won't get that recharge as often.
So yeah, the Angel6 set isn't overpowered in the beginning. Not even the best in the game, but that's easily debatable.
why i feel its a overpowered?
easy, because u need few times kill that angel, grind for while and then u can smash thru whole level in 1 or 2 hits to enemies
and really looks like it is one of strongest gear in this game ..maybe not end-game gear, but still
i was playing this game long, long ago, without this gear ..and if i remember that correct, it was impossible to smash that "miniboss" in underground by one or two hits
i understand its maybe not end-game gear, but i can imagine it will be nice midgame gear and awesome start gear..
and when its upgraded to lvl2 (with some grind at start) it looks a bit OP when u compare that with basic Lynx for example
thats why i was surprised by this
its like when u get Havel gear at start of Darksouls..
i expect some pain in this game from begining.. not this cheezy option (i know, i dont need use that and after i test it, i decide no to use this gear)
again, thx for explanations
Yep.
i find all secrets and kill boss without using rockets on himself.. then i get Imperator 2.0
rhino bonus looks better than Lynx.. when Lynx is active only when ur between 80-100 percent HP
but i use Lynx for best stamina management and fast attacks, its fun with boost energy gain from attack and healing from energy..
