Looking for light(chest piece)

Hey guys. I just started to play surge and i realy like it. I got 1 problem.

I am running around at the starting area until i reach a place that is pitch black.

Game reminds me that i need to switch on the lights of my chest gear. Sadly i got none.

I am farming till an hour now yet i am unable to aquire a chest piece. Am i missing something here? Is the dark area not the place i should go and i havent found the correct way?

It kinda freaks me out.

Armor drops in the game arent random, you need to hit the torso of a mob for chest armor to drop

Lock on to the enemy. Carefully tap straight down. If it doesn't say chest, then tap up to get head, and then tap down again. Eventually if you are tapping straight down it will say chest.

Now when it says chest, if it is blue, it's unarmored and may get you a finisher, but it won't get you armor. If it is yellow, then as long as you hit it several times and then finisher, you will get a broken chest piece which will give you the matching chest armor schematic.

Repeat for any other piece you ever want. Target the part, swing several times or until you can do a finisher, and then finishers. Make sure to fight appropriately so that you don't get beat silly, but try to land most of your hits on that part to make sure that you get that part.

Thx man! i didn't knew i can aim for the chest. I thought just aiming at the enemy means the torso is marked.
