To the dev who designed 'that jump' in R&D
You deserve to have a tack put in your chair for a week. Maybe more then one since you put scaffolding around the doorway just for extra trolling of players. I know this jump can be done, but unless I need it for achievments, I will skip whatever that overload unlocks, and you sir/ma'am can go sit on a tack.

Don't try jumping from the vent, dropping down and jumping from the box below makes it easy. Now if we were talking about the jump in the project resolve centre in the dlc however.........:steamsad:

Those jumps were hard? Go to the border, walk back three steps making sure you do not walk up a level, hold run, go forward and jump after two running steps. Need a little timing and training but you can do it at ground level to practice. I have done it to learn how to do jump attacks. I do it with a M&K controls with little control over the movement speed (full run or stop unless you hold the walk key).

Friend of mine cheesed the Creo World jump by "climbing" the diagonal strut next to the loot platform. I made the actual jump, but it IS a pain.

The jump in R&D is worse, though, as there's no quick way to climb back up and retry. Have to trundle along a long, winding path for a minute or two just to have another try. FFS!

This debate always cracked me up, love to see it back:steamhappy:. I literally hit that jump after 5 tries, and the jump at Resolve Center in DLC took me 3. I use a gamepad and would NEVER be able to do it on kb+m, yet there were ppl swearing they were able to do it easier with kb+m

The controls aren't so much the issue. It's that both jumps have almost no margin for error. At least the one in Creo World takes a few seconds to retry.

Someone provide a pic of this jump? I'm in R&D right now and not a clue of any hard jumps and only recall one small platform with an overload on it. Reddish room? little white block of a platform across from a vent?

That's the one, yes. If you bungle the jump, you have to circle all the way around through the main area and go through a bunch more service tunnels to try again.

Done same thing. Was sick of jumping after like 15-20 tries and started to climb. Done it on 3rd climbing try

The CREO world jump is deceptive, it looks like you've got a nice long run-up to the jump, but the tiny elevation difference between the walkway and the girder throws your jump off, if you step down onto the girder then run and jump you won't have any problem with the jump.

The one in R&D is pretty much the same, but with a standing jump instead, you have to step down to the bottom step before the drop, then jump.

They're both REALLY trolly.

Really? I just full speed ran and jumped to reach it.

I just did a running jump and attacked for an extra push myself. (twin rig weapon)

Not really, you can actually jump on the platform above the door from the floor. Is how I do when I fail the jump, and saves a ton of time :D
