Sunglasses issue?

So, I'm on NG+ and I've just completed Jo's quest, getting the achievement.

As soon as that happened I went to Jo's room, expecting to find the sunglasses, but they're not there? There's nothing in the room, looks like I would have been given the weapon, which I already own so there's nothing there.

How that happened? I never actually went to Jo's room until now and I'm sure I've given Jo the scraps 3 times since I got the achievement.
I went to the room straight away after that, should I come back later on or it's simply bugged?

The recent patch makes duplicate weapons get converted in to resources iirc (Unsure if it is limited to boss weapons).

Yea, that would explain why I didn't get a second weapon, but point is I should have not gotten the weapon in the first place!!

I completed Jo's quest, so I should have found the sunglasses in the hideout!

In order to find the sunglasses in her hideout, you have to dodge her each time she asks for Techscrap. If you give her techscaps even one time, you won't find the sunglasses but an implant.

to get sunglasses you have to not do jo's quest

do nothing = sunglasses
give the scraps at each point in the game = get the heavy weapon

This is correct suggestion. You can only get one achievement involving Jo per playthrough so you must clear at least NG+ in order to get both achievements (Helping Jo and grabbing Sunglasses).

Well, I guess I have to do a NG3 run, by then I should be able to wear the full Black Cerberus set at least.

I have the opposite issue, I got neither the weapon OR the sunglasses. I gave her tech scrap at every oppurtunity and unlocked her hideout before giving her the final amount but never took anything. Was I supposed to go back immediatly before beating the Bloodied Proteus and getting CREO Security to flood the area. I finally managed to go back and the table is empty. EDIT UPDATE: The weapon showed up in front of OPS in Central Productions B after I made my way back to it.

If you gave her scrap 3 times you will find weapon in front of opt in central product B. if you never give her any scrap after you defeat big sister. go to her hideout you will find sunglasses.

Huh? I'm not sure if I understand you correct, but here's the thing:
Never, ever, give her scraps. Then the sunglasses will be there.

PS Those things are ♥♥♥♥ anyway, you get a debuff for wearing them :(

I got sunglasses and didn't do any quests. There's a pair in a room right after you drop down into Research and Development, through the gas.

You get them for NOT doing her quest.
Do the quest: Get the Heavy weapon
Don't do the quest: Get the sunglasses

I didn't even realize Jo was an NPC in the game. I was just going after the power overload nano points, stumbled on her room, found her dead with someone and got the sunglasses. Happy accident I guess. Though, I feel like a vanity item in this game is stupid because the set bonuses are what make the various suits worth it. If you wear the sunglasses, you don't get a set bonus.
