[Solved] Crafting components

Where can I get components Mk2 ? Disassembling at lvl 2 gives mk1 only and i have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of them. No mk2 so i cannot upgrade my suit :(

PS. I was stupid -- I always targeted to a blue part. In this case alloy only was dropped. Targetinf to yellow part gave me plans (on 1st drop) and all components.

2nd area will have plentiful mk2 gear to break down into mats...

Or you have to grind the only 2 enemy in 1st area with a possible drop for mk2 gear, the yellow rhino armored guys...And that's only for arm parts I think...

Similar mk3 in 3rd area... and so on.

I didnt have a single mk2 drop in 2nd area. Alloy only.

Aim for body, leg, arm and head for corresponding mat? You need to chop them off...

You break down the chopped off parts at the gear crafting station(terminal close to medbay) to get the components.... I'm not in game now, so I can't check if alloys are part of the equation. Maybe mk2 in area 3, mk3 in area 4.

E.g You break down a Wrecked Lynx helmet and you get cortical processor. This is done automatically, once you access the station.

And I did manage to upgrade my weapon and 2 armor pieces to mk3 while still in area 2. I did farm the area and collect a lot of broken body parts...Not rhino gear, but scarab or liquidator gear.

hmm im having the same problem i cut off the parts ( body is what i want to upgrade) n it only gives me mk 1 not the 2. Iv also done it to the hammers n wolverines n still only got mk1 from both body parts

I dont know, may be it is as intended... Alloy is Mk 2 rather...

there's some dudes up the stairs by the duck/jump tutorial robot that drop mk2 components consistently.

Ok I went ingame to check, to get alloy, you need to cut off weapon arm to get metal alloys. Yup Area 2 is for MK2. Alloy drop as loot.

Helm, arms, legs, body is for the corresponding other mats. Only after you bring the broken part back for break down in gear crafting station.

I know that. But the alloy is Mk2 and other components are Mk1. So I cannot upgrad my armor to Mk2. It looks strange to me.

Because most of the enemies in zone 2 still wear rhino/operator, like in zone 1. Scarab and Liquidator enemies are only a few in zone 2.

I cannot upgrade to mk2 set aside mk3 lol
PS. wtf are liquidator and scarab?!
