Motion sickness from the recent streams
It's really weird, but all recent streams of the Surge give me some low motion sickness. It wasn't present in old early previews of the game. It's like the camera instead of sticking with the character follow some smooth interpolation and is always floating behind him. During the fights it's really present, the char is not in focus and move from left/right of the screen.

It's really rare to me to get motion sickness in games and first time ever in a stream. Is there an option to desactivate the smooth camera?

You might require to visit your optician or an eye doctor. Just in case.

Playing other games without problems (like Nioh at the moment). Comparing with an old preview video, the camera movement feel sharper and faster in old footages, like in any 3rd person game. It's like they added some smooth interpolation layer on the camera since, that why i'm asking if there is an option you can activate/desactivate.

The "camera bobbing" can be deactivated from the options menu.

Thanks for the answer. Just noticed the option in a stream. Look like there is a camera smooth option too. Is it something you've added recently compared to month old preview? Just asking for my sanity.

Both options (bobbing and smoothing) have been there for a pretty long time (for me at least ;) ).

Yes, this.

I tried to ask on the AMA but came in too late.

LotF was completely unplayable for me and hundreds of other people due to the camera shaking. This option needs to be patched into the game so we can go back and actually play the game that we bought.. and especially because it's a souls-like game.

Same issues here with LotF that made me uninstall it before first boss. Let us know if the lack of camera bob helps with motion sickness.

I have Labyrinthitis right now so this is pretty good news. I'm not even allowed to operate machinary.
