ledge under the door jump from there
If you play with a controller like most the jumping is terrible in a short space like this one. Use your keyboard to short sprint with shift then spacebar to jump. It's real easy and won't need to retry it multiple times like i did on my first playthough.
Though, a caution strip or something on the ledge indicating "significance" to that point, so that the player KNOWS he's supposed to jump the gap and not seek an alternative route, would be really nice.
The only thing that's a rumor or inaccurate is you saying it is.
It's a tip if someone is having issues. Anyone can do it with a gamepad or keyboard as it was designed to work both ways.
You said it's terrible with a controller, I tell you it was always easy for me to do. I can't with a kb+m, but I don't say it works horrible
It's a opinion like your opinion that my opinion its inaccurate. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Now saying its a rumor, that's not a opinion. It's just false.
For myself jumping in the entire game with an xbox one controller is great. But in that one instance on the short shelf it's terrible. It's probably has more to do with the controller being wireless and my keyboard being wired and with a mechanical switch that's just giving a faster response and better control.
I never stated it as a fact. Only stated an opinion and a tip for those who had a similar experience as I did. Then he stated that what I said was inaccuarate and a rumor which it isn't. I never said it can't be done, or that it can't be done easily. Only that it was terrible in my experience vs my keyboard.
Not sure what you mean in the first sentence, or why this is going so long but:
You said controller is terrible in jumping, and I said don't post your opinion as a fact because for me it was a breeze, so it was for other ppl who would have had a hard time with kb+m
I use a DS4 connected via bluetooth and had no issues climbing and jumping anywhere.
Anyhow, point is if you really struggle with the one, try the other but both work fine
