Floor 2 is the best farming spot in the entire game. Depending on what you do on Floor 3, you might not be able to return to the med bay at all and will be forced to face down the boss.

Most of the game I just no brained the starting area becuase you can get to the point that you kill everything in 1 or 2 hits and litterly never stop moving do the whole circt it about 3 minutes and with Reclaim buddies get 6k. I did that while watching some youtube.

Later when I really needed a lot of scrap I found the Ops station before the Black Ceribus fight to be the best. Step out kill the 3 guys in the next room. Reset. Maxed out mulitplier and its like 10k in about a minute.

There are better routes out there but for me when I want to grind I want to use as little brain as needed so I can watch youtube or read something. And these two spots worked best for that style low effort high return with almost no skill needed.

Late-game nothing can beat the OPS in RnD with all the Security mooks that spawns just outside of it.

Right before the Black Cerberus fight, there are the 3 Security guards. Just lop off their heads, go back to Ops, hit the gear machine to respawn them while not losing your scrap bonus multiplier, and farm away. You'll end up with the 300% bonus pretty quickly and enough scrap to level as much as you want.

It's fast and efficient.

If you are not great fan of mindlessly repeating short sequences as suggested above, Executive forums from Medbay to Nucleus and back might be decent run. I did it few times and it definitely yield decent scraps as well as MK4 crafting materials. It works best when you unlock everything there, which means you drop down those firewalls and can reset the map on both end of the route.

I just recently found out that you can destroy implants for Tech scrap. This means, you can farm the ancillary cores(XL), which give you 2k each, from the security robots in Central Production B along with all the security goons. I racked up enough to max out my NG+ gear in a couple of cycles.

Yeah the cores are good but when you have a bunch of Reclaim buddies you can do even short runs for 10k easy in less time then it would take to kill the 5 bots needed to make the same amount.

But yeah they are a wonderful extra if your grinding an area that has them.

I just go for whatever enemies are the highest armor tier of where i currently am. And then got for their weak points to kill em off quickly. rinse repeat. Loads of scrap...

But generally i dont bother too much with scrap farming. As i tend to get loads from just farming the components i need to upgrade armor and weapons.

If you are at the later point where Centeral Production B is spawned with a bunch of the enhanced crawler bots. Then just kill a bunch of them and chop off their tail. The tail gives a Ancilliary XL core that can be scrapped for 2k extra scrap.

In R&D after you unlock the Carmina staff just outside Ops there is a MK4 Cerberus enemy that leaps at you as you exit Ops.

I put on a podcast to listen to and I farmed him for 1.7Mil scrap and about 180 of each MK4 components. I used Reclaimation Buddy v.4 and banked my scrap at the garage to keep my scrap multiplyer at 3.4 earning 7803 scrap per run plus bonus loot drops.

Takes about a minute or so per run but since it is right outside Ops and doesn't attract other enemies to the fight it is safe and fast.

By the time I hit Nucleus I'm already maxed out

I second this. This was my method as well.

Do this for over a Million scrap in 20 mins in NG+ with 140% scrap implants

You will net the same amount at the OPS before Black Ceb in NG+ I litterly just did this last night and netted just a bit over 1 mil in about 20 minutes.

In both cases it is small number of targets with quick reset time that makes them work.

I like to farm on the Executive Forum, using the elevator to the Nucleus to reset the mobs.

The mobs there not only give a huge amount of scrap, but also always drop Mk. IV material.
