Don't have to walk. Just stand behind them and press LMB (left mouse button) to "knock them down" and a second time to hit them. It works very well on the first level, but I don't think it will work on other enemies, unless you slow them down with Emergency Coolant Vent.

The wording is a little weird, but I think you're asking how to sneak up on someone for a backstab? If so, the answer is you can't really. However, doing a backstab does not require you to sneak up on them, it only requires that you be directly behind them.

Ah, must be a german keyboard. I didn't realize there was a key for walking...would be nice if they had that in the keybindings so I could change it to a better key.

True, but that really doesn't matter. Most of the playerbase for this game is going to be non-german, and most likely the majority of which will be english speakers, or at least using an english keyboard, on which "ctrl" is the most well known name for the key. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem that he used the german name for the key, I was just confused as I'd never heard of it and I thought it was either a typo or he was trolling. It's just good to clarify for those who aren't familiar with german keyboards so they as well know what the key is.

I agree. Ctrl would not have been my first choice to use for it. Would very much like them to add it to the keybinds, as well as a few other things that should be in there.

backstap are worthless in this game, u do a lot of more damage if u start with a jumping or sliding attack and follow with several combo strikes.....

with side mounted weapons u have so good combo attacks to let enemies stumble around and cancel there attacks. with enought stamina u can doge after a combo, if the enemy are not even dead.

ich würde dir Fraktalsplitter empfehlen, bisher die beste einseitig montierte waffe die ich gefunden habe. meine macht inzwischen 462 dmg auf NG+3.
ich fang normalerweise mit mit springen + linke maus und dann zwei mal rechts und wieder links. da macht er nen ellenbogenstoß danach nen schwinger und dann nen dropkick.
auf ungeschütze bereiche, kopf, arme oder beine fangen die gegner immer an zu taumeln und der dropkick gibt ihnen den rest.
man kann auch mit nem springt + linke maus dann rechts, dann links angreifen is auch recht effektiv, aber da werden die ♥♥♥♥♥ so häufig unterbrochen.

mach mal langsam ryzom, ich komm klar mit dem spiel ;) bin grad ng4+ und hacke mich flott durch. es ging mir nur ums prinzip, ausserdem sieht es geil aus wenn warren in voller black cerberus langsam umherstapft ;)

und versuch mal ausm sprinten angreifen, dannach horizontal, dannach vertikal, das haut rein. und sieht gut aus, was noch wichtiger ist (mti pax oder fraktal, mit legionär gehts leider net)
