How to beat 3 legged spider robots
As the title says. Im in the biolabs area outside where theres a ton of them and they can pretty much 1-2 hit me and I barely do anything to them. They seem to have no soft spot and I cant dash away in time before they smack me super hard.

I honestly found the first 2 bosses easier then these stupid things

I know your feel, but try to taunt them, best with the range drone, so you can fight them 1 by 1.
And I am allways going for 1 leg. Waiting for them to jump, dodge it, and then slideattack 2 or 3 times.
Dodge all their attacks backwards and attack one after you do. Build up drone and use the ram one to knock them down and do a heavy attack. Repeat until dead. Hope it helps. :D

Tried it. Worked a little bit but one still took down 4 of my injectables. These things arnt even fair. Even If I doge right away after hitting him once he can still flip around and hit me. Cant make it through that area. Tried about 30 times now. Ill get fair but once I get to the last one I have no injectables and little health.

Not to mention if I am trying to fight a normal guy those spiders have such a long range they just jump in a one hit me.

Just use PAX weapon stay right up em and when you see there tail go bk or swing block and attach straight bk rinsed and repeat, if then jump far back wait for them to jump at you and dodge it. my 1st playthrough i had nightmares with em now since my secong playthrough i run at em 1 on 1. never more.
Learn their moveset, so you can avoid it and exploit his timings. Try to keep close as much as possible, and take advantage of his animation times to land a couple hits.

Successfully timed hits also stagger them, usually 2nd or 3rd hit. When you find their rhythm you will be juggling them, but yeah before learning their moves they are among the toughest enemies

This is the easiest way to do it, can kill them in a couple seconds using only 2 hits:

The trick is to use a Volatile Spectre with its insanely-high Elemental damage that these are weak to (even if you don't normally use Single-Rigged weapons this thing seems tailor-made to kill these bots so set it as a Favorite to swap to it quickly), get close, block and counter. Dodge or jump (Block+Up on Right Stick) the leaping attack if it gets far away, but all other its melee-range attacks can be blocked.

After showing how quickly a Volatile Spectre kills one of these, the rest of the video is demonstrating how easy it is to just block every attack if you stay close to it.

Using a single rigged weapon lead with a slide attack targeted on tail full combo should snap it off and then jump back sidestep the lunge attack and combo attack again (may take a couple of these depending on weapon damage) took a bit of practice but easy as pie now. the tail break should take most of there hp with it

All but long jump can be blocked. Jump can be negated if you lunge to them after they flip away, but its more profitable to learn exact time to sidestep it. Wont aggro all them at once if you dont run around.
I learned this tentacle goat on 2-rigged weapons, cause those leave less downime to miss block and dont waste all stamina quick.

I just side step and hit, the middle "eye" is a stun if you can hit it before the back flip or tail strike. I've seen video of a guy using a Titan to block the tail strike then vertical strike and take one out in three hits, but the timing has to be spot on.

Awesome. Thanks for the helpful tips guys I'll give this a go later.

I never need more than 2 hits to kill them, let alone 3, and timing doesn't even need to be that great. Check the video I posted earlier in this thread for how to kill them in 2 hits using a Volatile Spectre.

i found out eventuly that parrying is your friend, and you can safely kill them in 3 hits. do not attack unless you get a parry off.

Do not go behind them (at least while they have a tail).
You can jump up (block + up) to avoid taking damage from their leap attack.

Dunno about the others, but using dash attack (dash+LMB towards him) helps tremendously in terms of keeping distance and killing them in the meantime.

In NG, I would dodge their charge and just block/counterattack their tail swipe. Doesn't work so well in NG+ since I don't have enough Stamina to block anything. If you're running gear that doesn't let you block like that, the best way is to bait them into doing literally anything and attack them aggressively afterwards. At short range, the Dog Bots take significant delays between attacks, on the order of 4-5 seconds. That's enough time to get a few hits in and pull back.

One easy way to get free hits in is to make them charge into a wall and dodge to the side. That puts them within reach of you immediately after dodging, so you have extra time to wail on them.
