Best armor

Just want to hear your opinion wich set you guys prefer!
I personally prefer Chrysalis Gear

the easiest way should be scarab set, high armour n decent health buff.
used it during 1st playthough.

fashionwise i would prefer ironmouse set, awesome design, themesong, + requieres zero corepower n has a pretty nice bonus.

also like the lynx one, prefer single rigged weapons n the speedbuff fits realy good in here.^^

using Black Cerberus at NG. 125 base damage, 150 with full energy. But I most like Scarab look.

i think it depends on the situation. For single rigged, i like the Lynx and rely on dashing and counters to get my wepons hits confirmed. for twin rigged, i think the Rhino is best. Its bonus impact when a damage buff is active can make even the twin rigged stagger enemies with armor, and they benefit the most from having the flat 15+ damage per hit, so it will constantly be running with buffs.

The enviromental armor is crap though. from my experiments, it halves the damage you gain from corroding surfaces, but they all ramp up to 10 damage per second no matter what, saving you like 15 damage over all. the scarab may allow you actully take a hit without dieng but you can't rely on innplants as much, and healing become harder to maintain.

Seriously though, I much preferred the secret armor set. It was just far too cheeky to not wear.

Chrysalis hands down. Reliable atack speed bonus and drone cost -50%. Theres nothing else you need if you are good at dodging.

Rhino al the way not much core power needed it has almost same defense as the MG Cerberus set when maxed out on that newgame +

Using the pax 2.0 on newgame + doing 365 damage lol.
So single rig weapons with rhino [full set bonus] is best because anti stagger boost when the right implent is used.

Gorgon armor is great overall. High defense and the set bonus lets you regenerate back to full stamina after a second or so, so it's very good for hit and run playstyles. Only downside is that it has a pretty high core power cost.

The Ironmaus armor is amazing too, if you've found it.

I've been running LYNX since the beginning of NG and love it, mind you trying to use a single-rig weapon with any other set feels like I am stuck in jello...

Of course now that I am nearing the end of NG+ I am starting to realize that even if I wanted to use any other armor I would need to spend several hours grinding for scrap to get any other set up to MK9. I feel like the steep cost of changing weapons or armor sets is one of the things I dislike the most about the game, I feel like it severely limits moment to moment variety.

MG Gorgon is best. Yesterday I compared all available armors in resistance and armor except both cerberus, maus and chrystalis, gorgon is best in slash and crush dmg res and second in armor and impact dmg res, other one good is elite hazard. Checked chrystalis arm and cerberus leg, they was no where near. So far with fine set bonus and no any penalties (except 4% dmg reduce in head) gorgon is best armor in game

Trying out full Lynx set for my NG+ run atm and good god is it fast. Can't afford to get hit at all though. Still in favor of Gorgon since you can tank a few hits and not lose the set bonus, but Lynx is definitely up there if you never get hit.

And if you use some energy gain implants and that "energy to health" implant, then you can be quickly back at full health.

Chrysalis Gear is better than Lynx. I was playing all the time in Lynx till found Chrysalis and when I eqiped it... Jeesh, its same att speed, but! -50% drone cost and speed buff dont depend on HP.. and that defence... I literally crush through enemies like hell now!

Whatever it is, it aint (Black) Cerberus, sadly.

For general purposes it is probably Gorgon.
