Totally this, it's typical when using this tactic on heavy duity to stunlock your oponents to death. Who needs armour or dodging when you can't be hit.
Emergency Coolant Vent is amazing with them as well.
the range and speed makes it perfect for a dodge-♥♥♥♥♥ who never stops moving. plus it has stats in every damage type and a decent energy % so its nicely versatile. though that occasional burst of flame can be distracting
for other weapons i think the MG Centurion looks cool. And all the single-rigged and heavys are badass though I'm terrible with slow attacks
Indeed. However, I think the slide-attack should be viable as well. I wish the devs would speed up the attack animation or sometihng. Or fix it like they did with the hammer mooks - add that little "love tap" with your feetz during the slide.
This is a good point, there are circumstances where the slide attack is useful with a heavy, but they are rare. For instance, taking out drones is an excellent use of slide, but it generally isn't viable against the bulk of enemies, if it allowed for just a couple of i-frames during the windup for example, it might be more useful. Or if it fired off more quickly and had a slightly longer recovery window.
Not a staff user, but I like spitfire for its long-reaching, fast thrusts on 3rd combo attack.
And any weapon with modaxinol, best implant in the game!
You'd be surprised to learn that there is an improved version of it out there... :D
I love the claws but I now feel they are way too OP, fights seem overwhelmingly unfair. Metamorphing Talons is my all time fav, the whole Chrysalis setup is a thing of deadly beauty
