Is a fast and agile Twin-rigged Weapons user any good?
I was told that heavier weapons are better, is this true?

They are arent bad and if you enjoy them go ahead but I feel it doesnt feel as strong till you get the best twin rigged in game but theyre really nice to use

I ran just fine with twin rigged for a long time, then i got a liking for staffs. But twin rigs are nice for crowd control and some tactical overpowering.

Heavier weopons in my mind tend to favour a more hit and run or one strike to end all strategy. Twin rigs allow you to vary alot more.

Btw forgot to say if you use the counterweight injectable, twinrigged get the best use from it doing really high dps

I really like the twin rig setup and they have fast reactive attack patterns, the combo system they excell at.

The spinning 360 combo has great AE coverage for taking down multiple targets and is a guaranteed knockdown when done against a targets head.
The multi stab combo to the chest is again a guaranteed knockdown
The multi attack backflip again a stagger / knockdown

All of the above are made even flashier with the Firebug Throttle V2.

Using single rig in comparison although effective just feels abit bland.

they are a bit hit or miss. But from a gameplay/aesthetic perspective, they feel badass. The move set is very agile and the executions are intense. They aren't useless, but you need to deal with some frustrations that aren't there if you use single rigged or heavy weapons, most notably an unreliable stagger.

I recommend if on the fence use another weapon for your first playthrough. Then use twin rigged for NG+ which is what I did. As for profeciency, it levels very fast in NG+ I went from lvl 9 to 18+ which is where my Single rigged was from my first playthrough and I'm just now starting lvl 4.

twin is good, fast and light twin rig offers a powerful hit and run strategy, get the right mods and you can easily build up energy and never use large heal items in the game. its a set up that offers a lot for energy reliant options.

twin rig weapons are my fave. personaly i dont care for the 'strongest' twin rig weapon, the style is much close to that of one handed weapons.

personaly for twinrig go for heavy armor then throw on mods for extra stamina. getting the Impacrt from heavy armor really lets you knock out some fantastic dps onto most mobs.

knowing the moveset of the weapons really lets you get in and out of combat really quick.

my fave weapon is prob the cero ip-75 inducer - ballanced dammage type, overal decent. i mostly just like how it looks and sounds.

the metamophing tallons are prob the best twinrig - mindset for this is that claws of gelestalt is missing alot of the twinrig moves that i like and is actually no where near as fast as the regualr twinrig moveset.

It's a matter of perspective and preferrence. I'd say: give it a go, maybe you will like it.

I used ASTir Vibro-Cutter - which was amazing weapon overall - but at some point I decided to try out Yosuke Butterfly. I had my doubts at first, but once you know how to pull off fast attacks with them (and learn to counter-attack after blocking some attacks) twin-rigged became my favorite setup. Even more so with the Firefly v.2.0 that adds elemental damage (before that I used standard twin-rigged blades the regular enemies use.

The key is in learning the combos, getting your weapon proficiency to a decent level, counter-attacking when you can and attacking the exposed body parts. Once you have that you should do very well with twin-rigged weaponry. I will probably finish my first run with it (by the way, I am using the SCARAB armor). Then I will try out Fenris A-7.

Personally find the twin-riggers better on medium and heavy gear, since the fast attack speed and impact bonus let you stun and knock-over with really great frequency.

Still, I can imagine things getting really silly with the Lynx, for instance, so it's your call what you consider most important.

From what I can tell it's mostly personal preference. People swear by PAX Imperator, but I can't stand single rigged weapons. I've been using Bloodhound since I've gotten it and I love the super high impact stats (pretty much guarenteed to stagger enemies in 1-2 hits).
CriticalCore May 22, 2017 @ 8:23am
Twin Rigs are nice, but Single handed are better at the cost of slight attack speed but much better impact and staggers.

i'm also addicted to twin rigged (currently sporting firebug v2),and staves, because they're so unconventional.

Question. Does upgrading your armour help at all with survivability? Feels like it doesn't. Whether I've upgraded my armour or not I feel like I still get 1 or 2 shot. I've come to rely on damage, energy and health from energy implants. Currently wearing the Gorgon armour set and often switch between twin rigged, heavy duty and staves.
