Heavier weopons in my mind tend to favour a more hit and run or one strike to end all strategy. Twin rigs allow you to vary alot more.
The spinning 360 combo has great AE coverage for taking down multiple targets and is a guaranteed knockdown when done against a targets head.
The multi stab combo to the chest is again a guaranteed knockdown
The multi attack backflip again a stagger / knockdown
All of the above are made even flashier with the Firebug Throttle V2.
Using single rig in comparison although effective just feels abit bland.
Lmao.
personaly for twinrig go for heavy armor then throw on mods for extra stamina. getting the Impacrt from heavy armor really lets you knock out some fantastic dps onto most mobs.
knowing the moveset of the weapons really lets you get in and out of combat really quick.
my fave weapon is prob the cero ip-75 inducer - ballanced dammage type, overal decent. i mostly just like how it looks and sounds.
the metamophing tallons are prob the best twinrig - mindset for this is that claws of gelestalt is missing alot of the twinrig moves that i like and is actually no where near as fast as the regualr twinrig moveset.
I used ASTir Vibro-Cutter - which was amazing weapon overall - but at some point I decided to try out Yosuke Butterfly. I had my doubts at first, but once you know how to pull off fast attacks with them (and learn to counter-attack after blocking some attacks) twin-rigged became my favorite setup. Even more so with the Firefly v.2.0 that adds elemental damage (before that I used standard twin-rigged blades the regular enemies use.
The key is in learning the combos, getting your weapon proficiency to a decent level, counter-attacking when you can and attacking the exposed body parts. Once you have that you should do very well with twin-rigged weaponry. I will probably finish my first run with it (by the way, I am using the SCARAB armor). Then I will try out Fenris A-7.
Still, I can imagine things getting really silly with the Lynx, for instance, so it's your call what you consider most important.
