Claws of Gestalt vs all other twin rigged (and one handed )

I did a thread comparing two staves , so in this one i want to take a look at claws of Gestalt. So lets start with it's biggest flaw. That being - there are litteraly now flaws.Let me count teh ways.

First of all , it provides you with 20 % energy per hit , which isnt teh highest , but it is a huge enough boost to make it viable for any drone user , or a guy who relies on injectables.

Secondly - it has a fast speed. While it doesnt have the same start up speed on the first swing , the second hit has the speed of the twinrigged , so more often then not you can safely land two hits , rather then one before backing down.

Next is the moveset. It has the super fast poke, found in one handed weapons , and it has the backflip of claw attacks

The very hight profiency scaling + high base damage pretty much beats all other single handed and twin rigged weapons


And the single most rediculous trait of this weapon - you can buff it to a high impact with goliath armour , which esentualy makes this weapon the highest DPS in the game possible. Given the speed and the impact power it is essentually near impossible for enemies to escape the stunlock. Ever. You will stunlock enemies wearing full set of cerberus armour by hitting them in the torso.And you will stunlock them till thay die.all of the time.

Those things are insane, i am not sure there is any point in trying to find strenghs and weakneses of all other twin rigged weapons , by the virtue of this thing very likely beaing the best weapon in the game amongst all types.

Well, it is a single-player game with no competitive aspects whatsoever.

Just don't use them? I agree that they are overpowered as all hell but... you can just not use them.

This is not the point here. I am not saying thay are bad , i am just saying why thay are so good. There is no need to fix any of this.

Yes, and my "reflection" is that if you think they are so good they outclass everything, just don't use 'em.

Firebug throttle seems like the second best option . With 5 % energy gain you can still rack up that energy with great speed , plus the elemental damage is nice , and from what it seems to me at least , it always staggers enemies on that burst backflip move.

The "Claw of the Gestalt" actually, from the looks of it, is a Combination of a single Sword and a Twin Rigged Claw on the other Hand. Thats why it has so much Damage Potential AND is so bloody fast. Yep its overpowerd. But then again again you actually managed to kill the last Boss for it so it should feel "powerful". So i dont mind that, still going on the NG+ with the "Plasma Axe" just to kill my Enemys with its badass Energy Wave it sends out x)
