i would have to say mine is the industrial electromagnet.

while alot of the drones have great function i love using the pull to further my combo
*throws drone*
*starts combo on mob*
*mob just about to attack*
*gets pulled*
*i proceed to finish him off*

you can also get backstabs if you go for a backstab right after the mob gets pulled.

so what drones do you like to use and why ?

toxic cloud drone felt really lame and was a let down.

I prefer the concussion drone and than secondary the shield. Flamethrower does high damage but often hurts you too and is very limited in were and when it can be used.

That all said Consussion drone works on some of the hardest enemies and even bosses in the game stunning them. It's almost op

yea, the melee drone is pretty usefull too. it would have been my fav. but i felt that for any time use it would usually end up throwing the mobs away from me.

shield drone but then again I only found that and concussion on my first run.

Now that I'm using the mighty ironmaus armor shield drone is still likely to remain my fave due to the set bonus (increased stability and well I use twin rigs so I got little of it)

With certain setups the Kinetic shield drone is the winner... However the concussion drone can wreck face and also stun enemies you might have trouble stunning (And can actually help set up stun lock situations for you).
The laser drone is kind of "meh" but can be great for "pulling" enemies so you can fight them 1 at a time.
Haven't used the Coolant vent drone ( or the poison version if wearing the armor for it).
Haven't use the magnet either (why would I want to put an enemy right in front of me).
I don't even think I have the flamethrower module (I probably ignored it, or ran passed it).

I was hoping we would find a flamethrower style weapon eventually (to combo with the poison gas drone) but I was let down :/

You could use magnetic drones on levels with fall damage to make enemies fall off a platform.

Depends on what I am facing. Generally I use the blaster, but all but the ramming drone attack has a good use. Cryo is very nice in the late sections of the game and for slowing down heavy hitters so you can cut off parts. Shield is nice for tight quarters in my lynx armor so I don't instantly die to a cheap attack, and blaster is great for 'poking' so you can keep fights managable.

If anything after finishing the game I wish there was an armor that gave a buff to the drone. I love the little bugger in just about every fight.

I've found I'm mixing it up a little now, but more often than not, a timely use of the concussive drone really saves your bacon. JUUUUUUST as the enemy will counterattack, in comes droney to knock them for 6.

yea, it wasent untill after the third boss that i realised you can change drones on the fly with the d-pad.

fav. the ones you want to use then use d-pad up to toggle through them... you can even pre charge them... pretty handy tbh
