the Lynx is nice, but you got to hope you either interupt there attack, or you have to pop out of the fight to dodge.
Not the Lynx, the Chysalis. The heal factor works on everything, including drones. Couple that with aggression amplifiers and you pretty much almost never have to use an injector. Chrysalis has a faster attack speed than the Lynx, the lowest stamina cost for running and dodging, and a health on kill bonus. For me, this is the best set for a speed build... but focusing on stagger is also legitimate, I just prefer speed.
I definitely want to test heavy armor build using twin-rigged weapons (most likely Firebug Throttle 2.0 as it is very fast on its own). I still am not decided whether I want to go with Black Cerberus or MG Cerberus sets -- It will most likely depend on what is the bonus and what are the thresholds to get benefits from the set.
My idea is to have a high defense set allowing me to block or soak lot of hits instead of dodgine them. Use moderate amount of Vital boost implants, buff up stamina to compensate for heavy armor set and most importantly build high energy retain and generation capability.
Keep in mind that you don't need attack speed to be THAT fast. So it's better to use heavy armor for quick weapon. And light armor for heavy weapon. My last playtrough on NG+ i use Chrysalis armor with heavy duty (Judge 2.0) and they are awesome.
the build worked, I was able to take 1 hit but any more then that I had to heal or energy/health inject. dodging and weakness stunning is key to complete a full combo. if you get attacked by more then one target, you over committed. since I dodged, I never used block, so stibility was not needed in early game. like others said, having a extra injector to cycle through is a pain in fast combat. I never used the +damage implant unless I needed it in boss battles.
could there be other builds to make life easy? oh hell yes. but this build is getting me through the game and allowing me to enjoy the souls'-like style. I plan on going full heavy build with slow weapons to see how different the game is next time around.

So it important to note that the Rig Capacitor allows you to store the excess energy so you can pop your damage buff before every fight, not only doubleing your DPS, but also causing stagger.
You will also notice that to cut down on the items to cycle, i do not have Medi-Voltaic soceted, but intead use the agression amplifier as this heals on a % instead of a flat number, in this case i heal 40% of my max health every execute. The Voltaic Dynamo guentees that i have the energy to not only execute but to store energy for next fight.
I use the elemental damage buff, but from my findings the buff type makes no diffrence yet, but as i use the firefly v2 i might as well as use the elemental one. Still procs the Rhino. I have extra health modules to ensure survival, and to get more use out of the agression modules.
I have a stamina boost to help with the extra stamina consumption using heavy exo.
the auto filter is a free slot, and i happen to be fighting gas launchers.
Before i had the XL rig capacitor, i had the smaller one, and the free slot had a low level energy booster to allow the capacitor to store enough energyso that the damage buff was always ready.
I have now entered NG+++ and while I'm getting bit bored seeing the same content for the 4th time, I still want to finish this playthrough to see how NG++++ and beyond scaling goes. Nano Mass and Rogue Process on NG++ was already borderline ridiculous in terms of damage output so I want to see how that changes on next level. The game turned into all out dodge-fest due to how ridiculously high damage each hit dealt to light armor sets.
I want to create heavy armor build using Firebug Throttle 2.0 and Claws of Gestalt as my weapons. Armor set will be either MG Cerberus or Black Cerberus.
Implants setup (20 slots):
8x Vital Boost v.5
2x Aggression Amplifier v.2
1x Vanadium E-cell v.5 (potentially 2)
2x Voltaic Dynamo v.2
2x Rig Capacitor XL
1x Endurance Enhancer v.5 (potentially 2)
1x Red X-Cables (potentially 2)
2x Vital Injections v.5
1x Optional--Toxic Autofilter or offensive injectable or Kinesthetic Amplifier.
Boss modification:
Replace both Aggression Amplifiers and Red X-cables by Vital Injections. Optional slot will be replaced by Pneumatic Calibrator v.4.
My main problem with starting rigs, Lynx or Rhino, is the fact head piece does not provide reduction of drone energy costs. This is huge downside as I find Kinetic Shield drone absolutely crucial in dealing with massive damage bosses, and selected few monsters, deal in NG++ or later.
My concern specifically related to Rhino is that twin-rigged weapons do not rely on impact to stagger but rather on consecutive hits. Rhino set bonus is pretty pointless if you can chain combos that stagger enemies with or without the bonus.
I do salute you
i notice that the jump kick will some time send the MG security FLYING, somdtimes not, more often with Rhino, and more often still when they are in there ripost stance, if even the jump kick takes weapon stagger into effect.
