Can you seriously not control your own camera during fights? No option to disable this annoying lock on mechanic
Honestly going to refund the game if I can't find a way to get this game to let me look where the ♥♥♥♥ I want to look when I'm in a battle.

I'm fighting the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera more than the enemies

dont use lock-on lol

Don't lock on....or deselect the "sticky lock" option

I have deselected all the lock options. It still forces my camera towards enemies when a fight starts. If I want to look around mid fight to move elsewhere I cannot, I'm forced to look at the enemies. Am I missing something?

I have both mouse and kb and a gamepad, both have the same problem of the game taking over my camera when a fight starts

I have never played a melee combat game that thought I was incapable of aiming my camera before, it's easily the most frustrating thing about this game

Yeah the camera cannot be fixed. Tried multiple times with all lock options disabled. It wants to force me to look places I'm not interested in looking during combat.

Refunded. Learn why we have a mouse on PC next time devs. Unbelievable.

Seems you are literally the only person complaining about this, but nice one blaming the devs anyway.

The only reason the camera should be locking on to enemies is if you are locking on to enemies. Pretty sure you are just bad and blaming everything but yourself, but whatever, get your refund and go and have a little cry about it if it makes you feel better. You wouldn't have gotten anywhere in the game anyway so it's probably for the best.

Actually I see what you mean - it reacquires lock even after you deselect.

I wonder if there's a deeper config setting that can be changed, but I think it's a "feature" of the combat mechanics that emphasizes limb-specific targeted attacks.

I'd try to adjust your playstyle, the game really is excellent.

If you switch off automatic lock-on in menu you can control the camera at your heart desire during combat. Not that I know why you would want that, but whatever.

That should only happen if you have the auto-lock option enabled. I've not had a single issue with it locking on when I don't want it to.

Well considering I only have two hours to decide if it's worth the money I'm going to say no for now. If they implement a better camera option by the time it goes for $10 during the summer sale maybe I'll grab it again but I've played a TON of melee combat games and free control of your camera has never been an issue.

Plenty of games have limb damaging mechanics that you have to earn with precision using your mouse (think Chivalry) and not some playschool lock on mechanic that was poorly thought out.

Control of the camera is not an issue in this game either. If you don't use the lock-on feature then it should never lock on. Like I said, you are literally the only person complaining about this so the problem is clearly yours and not the game's.

Actually they are right - if you turn off the "auto lock-on" option in the main menu it never locks on. I just tried this with both controller and KBM. No lock.
sooooooooo i bought in a bundle had played the 1 before and i jump to 2, disabled all the silly stuff but....oh but..... if i move my mouse a bit fast to the right or left, my char does a 180 degree turn facing backwards....disabled all mouse related options but even the slightest non smooth movement will make my char spin.
any ideas?

you are missing something: theres an aggro mechanic. anytime you capture the attention or aggro of an enemy, both of you focus on each other within a certain radius. in order to break this radius and eye lock, roll away or run away from the radius of the enemy so you stop focusing on them.
