I have both mouse and kb and a gamepad, both have the same problem of the game taking over my camera when a fight starts
I have never played a melee combat game that thought I was incapable of aiming my camera before, it's easily the most frustrating thing about this game
Refunded. Learn why we have a mouse on PC next time devs. Unbelievable.
The only reason the camera should be locking on to enemies is if you are locking on to enemies. Pretty sure you are just bad and blaming everything but yourself, but whatever, get your refund and go and have a little cry about it if it makes you feel better. You wouldn't have gotten anywhere in the game anyway so it's probably for the best.
I wonder if there's a deeper config setting that can be changed, but I think it's a "feature" of the combat mechanics that emphasizes limb-specific targeted attacks.
I'd try to adjust your playstyle, the game really is excellent.
Well considering I only have two hours to decide if it's worth the money I'm going to say no for now. If they implement a better camera option by the time it goes for $10 during the summer sale maybe I'll grab it again but I've played a TON of melee combat games and free control of your camera has never been an issue.
Plenty of games have limb damaging mechanics that you have to earn with precision using your mouse (think Chivalry) and not some playschool lock on mechanic that was poorly thought out.
any ideas?
