First boss is broken
I'm completely stuck on the first boss. I've upgraded my gear up to the second level and I can't survive long enough to get past two orange health bars. That is if the stupid boss actually gets disabled when the orange health bar fills up.The boss also has super-cheap moves that you can't even telegraph. It seems to be about 25% of the time, the boss doesn't actually go down when the orange bar fills up. I keep whailing on the legs but nothing happens.

Edit: Just tried to face the boss again, and YET AGAIN, the stupid boss doesn't go down when the orange health fills up.

The sword attacks are impossible to dodge. There are also some moves that don't even damage you, they just knock you back.

I don't understand why you struggle with the first boss...with the second one you are going to cry blood tears.

Hit the legs, avoid the stomping, when it goes down refill stamina and hit it with everything. Rinse and repeat.

I hit the legs, the orange bar fills up, but nothing happens. It's on fire like it's supposed to be, but it keeps firing missiles and attacking me like normal.

i had a hard enough time myself but i beat the first boss on my 3rd or 4th try somehow

The boss doesn't fall just because you fill the orange bar. When the bar fills it fires missiles at you. Get under/behind it to make the missiles hit it and it goes down. Then hit the weak points to do massive damage.

Also, dodging is super easy. I did the entire fight withoug getting hit once.

You aren't suppose to know the first time, but to get the bosses true weapon, you have to beat it without missles damaging it, which is a bit trickier. You hit it while it is stomping on you and you will trip the boss.

I did not even notice an orange bar. I chopped at his legs (from behind if possible) until it collapsed and then hacked it's health down. Lather Rinse Repeat.

I also never kept at a distance and he almost never fired his missiles at me.

Besides the spraypaint next to the boss arena that says "Use his weapons against him"? Well, the 2 life bars implies that as well.

Nice and interesting boss design... fighting two legs that stomp the ground.

lol

I think that once the orange bar is filled, you have to wait until he tries to stomp you and hit the opposite leg to make it lose balance.

You figure it out. If you try the same thing over and over and don't get anywhere then you try something different. If you keep attacking something and don't do any damage then you're obviously doing something wrong and there must be a trick to it. Then you figure out what the trick is. This game requires you to actually think about things to progress; you can't just run into situations hammering the attack button and expect to get anywhere.

People run into this game expecting dark souls but this game is grind get powerful enough to tackle the boss then fight the boss, if you fight the boss without the Power Core Level required your going to have a bad time. First boss recommended 20-25, Second 40-42, The rest i havent actually fought against so i cant for say sure. But just keep at it :) You got this :D

I fought the first boss at core level 18 actually. Reinforced pipe+staff prof lvl 7. Boss wasn't difficult at all. None of the bosses were. Final boss was a joke imo.
