Mk2 parts , where to find them ?

Hello,
I was thinking to upgrade my armor to Mk2 before do the 1st boss but I only get Mk1 parts.
Do I need to access the next area to find these parts ?

Yes. In fact, you won't find mk2 parts until you've progressed quite a bit in the second area.

Mooks wearing anything but the classic Lynx or Rhino counts as Mk II.

So you have to wait a bit.

nothing in the scrapyard/first area will drop mark 2 parts.

There's a couple dudes in the second area that'll drop mark 2 armor stuff, and I think -everybody- from that point on drops mark 2 tungsten.

CORRECTION: The Rhino guys in the first area drop mark 2 tungsten. Still mark 1 armor bits tho.

Correction, there is a SINGLE enemy wearing angle armor hiding in the alcove near the yellow mini boss.
