are u suppose to save someone in the power plant?

I was clearing it again and i heard someone call out for help. I walked back n forth a couple times then looked around but dont see anyone. then it stopped and don't see anything at all, just enemies.

might be like dark souls where if you don't do things in a certain order you'll lose the opportunity

There is someone calling out for help in the second area. At the spot where you first see the second area boss through a window, you overload a circuit that opens a door behind you and to your right. On the other side of the door is a big pipe with someone inside calling for help. You can't see he, and after the initial call I think she goes silent until you interact with the pipe.

weird, i heard this person is the underground area not far past the 2 guys on the ground with the sign that says put your lights on.. I did enter this area from that side 1 time, but then attacked nothing, turned around and left. I actually entered from a totally different area, cleared everything and worked my way up towards the exit the wrong way. I'm guessing it's wrong because I saw the sign for turn your lights on facing the wrong direction from the one I was coming. plus this sign was at the end vs the start for me after I was already in darkness for a while killing everyone.

great game, but level design could of been less maze like.

i heard this too and its my belief that thats actually a hammer dude, i opened the door and was attacked by him, perhaps implying that he was going crazy and just lost it as warren opens the door?

i think it must of been the hammer guy. it seems weird that no other enemies talk except this one, but we both had this happen so it must be that enemy.

maybe when you booted up the power, you also restarted his defective rig, scrambling his brain in the process.

it was the hammer dude. and btw so far ive seen 3 npc in 2nd region.and heard 1 more whispering wating me to give her something . 2 of them stay now in my base but the third went somewhere not to be found yet. The whispering will show up later i guess. Right now struggelin with 2nd boss. But there are so so many things to overload and i just dont have the power high enuff to do that. Any hints?

I think I had something similiar happen in the 2nd area in the tunnel where you first find enemies with the liquidator armor entering the waste disposal area. I heard someone call out to me but I never saw anyone.

yeah. you have to go close and then u get the talk option even u cant see anyone. ;). but i didtn see that npc aqgain yet,even i did what was neededto do. very confusing and difficult game so far. i want to like it but since it hasnt checkpoints,exept for shortcuts and hard enemies qwich dont respawn, but all in all its a lookin for something you barely find and mostly dyin on the way there :(. its so much harder then any souls game since u cant sprint to another bonfire ;)
