The only extra character i'd really want is Beatrix, after getting through the events involving her up to the point that she voluntarily joins you temporarily after Beatrix learns the truth of Queen Brahne's goal of merely using Garnet to squeeze the Eidolons out of her like toothpaste and then immediately discard her afterward, then would be a perfect time to have her as an extra character, specifically after the events settle after Queen Brahne's death of course. ^^;

Two new characters with the same skills as two already playable characters... Would be great to put someone like the redmage from the pub or something like this.

i used gameshark to level up with Beatrix on the world map
(since they crash any story segments) if squenix was smart they would make the booster for FF9 max ap after battle and switch in characters like Beatrix or Blank.

That would be cool having a Red Mage that could use Black and White magic or just make Blank a playable Character you could recruit later after he changed classes to a Red Mage.

Right there with ya. ^-^ Though knowing the vanilla FF IX storyline they probably won't change much, just a feeling I have. ^^; But if they DO add an optional way of doing that via an npc or somesuch then i'd gladly love to have it, really. :D

man I always thought I would love a bonus segment involving Steiner's Freya's and Beatrix' adventures on Mist continent while the rest of the party is off at the other side of the world.
Including Fratley into that would just be too awesome to imagine, especially since it might give Freya some stroy presence after the Bumercia/Cleyra arc.

Of course it won't happen that way, but a man can dream :-/
