What ever happened to the Burmecians?
I mean they pretty much had both their home cities destroyed, was this ever addressed or did Beatrix sort of get away with genocide?

To be fair, she was under orders. Beatrix had sworn her life to serving Brahne and the kingdom of Alexandria, so anything the Queen said, she did. Even she was questioning Brahne's motives after the Burmecian and Cleyran incidents, though.

The few surviving refugees they found moved to Lindblum. So no they weren't 100% wiped out.

If you rescued the Burmecian couple in Act1 a ATR event occurs in Act3 in Lindblum when you're looking for a quest items.
