No encounter mode will be a Godsend.
Agreed, no more long slogs to the good grinding areas
(info pulled from wiki)
ah, i see, some of the boosters have to be pressed with the keyboard rather than in a menu or with a controller (at least the r trigger doesn't work for no encounters as you use that for the camera). Thanks for the help.
EDIT: ok, figured out if you press start then the RT works for the controller. lol
"Waaaah, other people are playing the game differently than I do! They can't be allowed that!"
Grow up, Thats not what he's saying. Infinite Gil, full HP/MP, instant 9999 damage... Yeah, you're not even playing the game. I like the battle speed and no encounters feature for the sake of convenience, but the other "boosters" take away ALL the challenge and fun out of the gameplay. If you enjoy playing like that then more power to you... but IMO, You might as well read a good book or watch a movie.
"Grow up" you say, because I don't think other people using cheats is a bad thing? It's hilarious to me that you defend the cheats *you* like, but the others are for "noobs". One could easily make the argument that the battles induce an attrition that *actually* adds to the difficulty and you're the "noob" for using it, no?
Or maybe you can just not judge people for using cheats *the devs put in* when they may need or want them?
Really, not everyone plays video games like you, stop trying to gate off the experience to others.
i would jsut like to point out that by definition what you are calling " cheats " arent cheatsm cheating is acting unfairly to gain an advantage, like breaking the rules of a game, or in the case of a vifeo game, hacking it using codes
but in this case the developers have put these options into the game, as options,
options everyone has access to,
oh and yoru comment baout syaing having the hp/mp 9999 damage etc on isnt really playing the game but saying no encounters and battle speed is convenience, i would argue that by removing encounters and speeding up the battles that you're not really playing the game either
