Bug steam achievment again

Hello everyone who see my post and sorry i know this forum had more subject about this but all the solution didn't issue my problem. my achievment are blocked since many years and i don't cheat when i create new game etc. i don't understand why my achievment don't progress. anyone have respond for me ? thanks a lot.
ps : I'm french so if in the community many person can explain the solution in french, it make me very happy to read you :)

Have you any achievements at all? Or it doesn't unlock any at all?

Yes i have installed moguri mod and i have a lot of achievment unlock since 2016 but my last achievment unlock i earned was in year 2020 so i have a really big bug.
I did many journey on FF9 since 2020 and no possibility to continue my hunt of achievment.
moguri mod was installed in my house in january 2024 so its not the mod who create the bug ... i'm very sad because many achievment are almost unlocked so it's frustating...

Ahh yeah i see now in your achievements :)

That is really strange.

This might sound simple but I have to ask, have you tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game? I would uninstall/delete mogui mod for the time being. Make sure you have your save file backed up properly, my save file was randomly deleted and the cloud didn't have a back up and i lost all my progress. !!!Make sure you do this!!!

Have you also tried these

= Loading a different save file
=Cast a blue magic spell. You have this Achievement I'm So Blue
Use Blue Magic spells 100 times.
51 / 100
=Load different save, cast a blue magic spell and if it shows 52/100 you know it worked.

If you don't have another save it could just be your save is corrupted somehow. In FF7 i had issues with my save that would allow certain things and i had to start again, so it's possible it could be a dodgy save. As i mentioned above my FF9 was not backed up properly and it deleted so sometimes these things do happen unfortunately

Try all that and if none of that works i suggest contacting steam

first of all thanks you for your rapid respond ^^
For respond at your questions :
- yes i uninstall and re install many time because i like format my computer 1x for year for delete all items are useless and to have a proper computer so i thinks it's not the problem.
- moguri mod are installed since 1 month so i don't know if it's moguri mod the problem. I see many people who can play with moguri mod and continue the achievments so either they're lying when they say that or it really works. As I said earlier, I've done a lot of games since 2020 and it didn't complete achievments at the time, unfortunately.
- I do a party since 1 week and i'm at treno for franck with markus, dagga and steiner so i do an another save with more test for example with blue magic and infortunetly didn't work.

At 2020 i remember i use the cheat with escape buttons for to have all the gils and levels. This journey i save on the cloud at 2020 so if it's that i don't understand because i delete this save on the cloud few days ago and the problem don't be resolve ...
i contact steam who can't do anything for me and I even asked them to reset my successes to 0 so I could start over but they couldn't and sent me back to square enix who in turn sent me back to steam..... what a hell...

Ah ok yeah sorry for asking the question but sometimes people dont try the basic things to fix it.

That really is weird. The only other thing I can think of is deactivating the cloud saves. Try with a fresh game install with the cloud saves disabled. The save/cloud system on these earlier final fantasy aren't that great and its twice given me issues on two of these games.

I cant find anything about that either from doing some searching around :/ I would keep on persisting with the customer service route and continue to try with them. It seems the only option. You could also ask on reddit, you never know someone may have had the same issue.

Such a shame that it isn't working especially if you like to 100% old classics like this game.

Yeah i had think to disable steam cloud and uninstal moguri mod and infortunetly it's the same way.... the only issue i think it's delete completely the game of my account steam but i don't want to do that. With all of complication i lost the fire to re begin a journey in ff9 and it's very frustating because i'm sure of steam can delete all my achievment and give me opportunity to complete as the first day i pay the game.... so i would like to thanks you to take the time to try to help me and maybe one person will be the solution for me at the future i hope so ^^ thank you and good game for you jacky.

I'm currently playing FF9 with moguri mod and Achievement are working.

Now I did some tests about achievements that requires multiple time the same actions (like kill 10.000 enemies, cast 100 time blue magic spell, etc...).

For FF9, it seems these achievements are not a global counter but a counter of your play-through.
(What I did was to kill an monster, counter went up 300->301 , reload the save, kill an monster, stat was the same 301, kill another monster, counter went up 301->302)

From your stats, I see you had a save file with 600 kills. Since you restarted the game from the beginning, I believe you will need to kill 600+1 enemies to see the counter going up again.

Maybe in your case, the fastest achievement is probably either get the 20th back attack or cast the 52th blue magic.

If you want to reset some achievements, just search "reset steam achievement" to find a solution.

i'm very glad to read what you say and maybe you probably right. It's very intelligent because i thinks to ff7 achievment for the gils or the completion of materias and the achievments progress when you try to earn it with One journey of the game and no with a lot of journey so it's very pertinent and i earn more hope when i read your commentary Xiaomi thank you ^^
I really have good moment with this game since 24 years and thanks to the moguri mod to continue this beautiful fantasy :)
