FFIX on iPad?

I just purchased the iOS version because I was too excited to wait for the Steam release. I downloaded the app on my iPad, but whem I click on the icon it takes me to a loading screen ("Initializing game data") and then the app crashes. Is anyone else having this issue? The app store page claims that the game is compatible with iPad...

wouldn't make a difference they already have your money, why would you buy it on ipad anyway just play the ps1 version.

Doesnt matter you can get a refund from Apple within 14 days so

Well, I'll wait to see what SE says, if anything, in response to my queury before refunding. In the meantime I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Steam release. Thanks for your help!

Yeah, sorry, I meant I was keeping my fingers crossed for the release to happen soon. I've been following it for a couple months now.

Perhaps cause he wants to play it on his ipad? SE does actually support its final fantasy mobile games.

So they just ignore every one else???
Did not know they care so much about mobile.

They do update the final fantasy mobile games when there are problems with it. Example FF6 for mobile had a game breaking bug where the Krief(spell?) vs Leo post fight would crash the app for everyone. Square-enix fixed it immediately.

Good, unlike other devs who port JRPGs to PC.

Its very tempting to buy on Ipad too but i don't really like to play game on touch screen.

I have a Bluetooth controller, but given the Android port has issues, yeah,...no thanks
