Excalibur II

I wish this game would eliminate that quest and make rope jumping easier while making enemies harder and add more abilities and characters and dungeons.
Make it difficult without running in panic for 200 hours trying to get 1 item which is the only challenge in the game.

You'd think they would have re balanced some of these things. I was so mad when the Chocobo catcher race in FFX HD was just as impossible lol. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!

Excalibur II can kiss me where the un don't shine. It's not that impressive a weapon, it doesn't have any exclusive abilities and it has a stupid name.

It's not worth rushing this awesome game.

But I guess there'll be an achievement for EX 2 ... so maybe second playthrough

Fast forward mode on mobile version doesn't affect the time clock, it still ticks real time as you skip past hours of conversations making a 100% game and ex 2 very doable. You can also skip cinematics. After you beat the game you unlock a cinematic library where you can rewatch them.

Well nice but you miss the IX experience, its just a stupid side-quest that takes too much effort and focus.
Its great that they are helping us cheat to get but its still a stupid side-quest that is quite pointless.

Just try a bit of googling to see how to stop the time from progressing once the game comes out and then you can enjoy playing and collect Excalibur II in the end without any worry.

I have it in my inventory on the PSX version with perfect game.
Got all items with it.

I used a time cheat, not unlike this but what it did is that it stopped the time.
Alot better, so i can just stop worry about it and i dont have to speedrun anything lol.
However i used non-enc cheat also so i did lv1 playthrough as well, and then i leveled all characters according to certain equipments to level up certain stats.

All in the same run, was fun

Excalibur II was a pain in the ass but it is doable in 12 hours, it was there as a test to speed runners, it also has the highest base atk in the game at a whopping 108 not to mention it is also holy (just some background info on the sword for the noobies) =) as for abilities I dont remember what it has maybe Shock or Clim hazard =/

Heh, using a time-cheat to get the weapon is actually quite a good idea. Don't usually use cheats and Excalibur II (Electric Boogaloo) holds still no interest to me, but it would make a nice statement about the pointlessness of the whole sidequest.

Indeed, why not just add it to your inventory in whatever way you can find.
I mean i will try doing the Benero brothers side quest on disc 4 and many obnoxious side quests.
But by no means will i rush to get Ex2 without the time being stopped lol.
And Rope Jumping needs to be cheated as well, achievements for these 2 things are not worthy.

I never use cheats but in these cases they are welcome
