Problems with Turtle Beach Recon Cloud controller

I have trouble with the left stick. Very often, when I use it, but then let go of it, the controller continues to push in that direction. I haven't noticed this happening in other games, so I'm thinking it may be a problem within the game. I could use the directional buttons, but don't find that as comfortable. I don't know if there is some sort of update or if there are settings I can change to correct the problem.
