I can't believe Square approves of these lousy jobs. I do feel like a little more love will be put into this port compared to past mobile ports since they added HD cutscenes, but you can never be too sure >.>
I'm honestly fine with the grey borders (they said they couldn't do widescreen anyway), and i'm fine with it being locked at the mobile resolution and framerate (720p, 60 FPS or 1080p?), but the UI. It's just too big and the amount of spells to cycle through is tiny!
Even FFVIII, you can't use an analog stick to control the vehicles like you can in the PSX version because it's based off of a shoddy late 90s port when analog controllers didn't widely exist.
VIII PC is 60 FPS
IX on Android and iOS is 60 FPS
Why not IX on PC? lol.
Nah Unity requires a supercomputer.
a 386 SX25 ?!
How many rams?
lol are you blind? The menus in 7 and 8 are 60fps but battles are 15 and outside of battles 30.
Everything else is 60 FPS. Walking around is in 60 FPS, Menus are 60 FPS, etc.
Although seriously that would be annoying, I hope they at least resized it.
No they aren't. Menus are the only thing at 60 in 7 and 8. Walking in the prerendered backgrounds is at 30fps and same in the overworld.
