FFIX - Super fast framerate issue
It seems for some reason on my system the game runs increadibly fast, very much like if you use DosBox to emulate an old title that was never meant to run on modern CPUs so everything is running as if it were in super fast-forward mode, For example, in the first battle immediately upon starting the game the attacker would take his turn every second or so. It's completely unplayable.

Anyone else experiencing this and if so, have you rectified it? This has never happend before with a 'current' title.

Relevant PC specs:
Intel i7-4790k (stock clock speed)
32Gb Ram
GeForce Titan X w/ current drivers
Win 10 Pro (64bit)

*sigh*

Thank you. I did not know there was an option of the sort, nor do I know why it became active as I don't recall hitting F1 to enable it (though I must have).

I will leave now, quietly and with my head hung low.

Ps. I will leave this thread open in case others come who are as clueless as I (as doubtful as that may be).

You weren't the first to accidentally activate a booster and not know what's going on, and you won't be the last.

The store page saying that the game has amazing boosters, but not saying what they are or how to access them is incredibly silly.

But the manual sure does.
