Hi, do you know how to set the game in full screen, there is a way?

You can't get rid of those without mods, it has to do with the backgrounds. They had to use the same backgrounds from the original release because they lost the source files, and they weren't about to remake all those backgrounds for a port, so the backgrounds are fixed in the original aspect ratio. If you got rid of the bars, you would be stretching the screen.

There does exist a mod, I think you can find it in the "Guides" section. However, I think it accomplishes this by stretching the screen, giving everything a "pulled wide" look.

I read that they have resolved, but I did not understand the process, it would take a video guide that explains how to do step by step.

See, this is why I don't get people who nitpick over relatively minor graphic issues: we have an incredible modding community. If it isn't a problem with the core game, there will be a mod to fix it soon enough.
