Funny thing is, it was pretty much impossible to get in psx PAL-version back then due unskippable cutscenes.
I've never even tried optaining that useless piece of metal since thegame was first released. I don't do speed runs.
I get distracted easil--WHATS THAT SHINY THING
that's why there is a large explanation after & after, most of people in the post perfectly got what i said by that, you look like a child have fun picking words out of context to me ... "hilarious" unless you are like : THIS IS SO HILARIOUS IM ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CRACKING MY ASS OUT OH ♥♥♥♥ THAT WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE EVERRRRR HELP ME THIS IS SO FUN I CANT STOP LAUGH GOD HELPPPPP c'mon man - -
I'm going to dig out my PSOne tomorrow to check as I was sure I got it eventually - I know I couldn't be bothered to try to speed through my PAL version. I don't understand how you could be strong enough to beat the bosses without level grinding.
Edit: It was Excalibur I at Daguerreo, so probably not!
However, a tool exists called Hades Workshop that allows you to edit the timer in the game to anything you want (or even remove it) you could put the sword in a shop or synthesis shop too if you wanted :D
