No random encounters in Qu's Marsh?

I'm trying to get Quina's blue magic from the enemies in Qu's marsh but there don't seem to be any random encounters. What am I doing wrong?

Have you accidentially enabled the no encounters booster?

having the same problem, no booster enabled (except for speed occassionally), enabled and disabled the no encounters in case it was a weird bug or something, but still nothing :/

I managed to get encounters, the encounter rate is just VERY low!

I turned no encounter on by accident,turned it off again. After that, the encounter rate is really low too. Bug?

Went back to Qu's Marsh when i had to go to the Outer Continent when progressing in the story, monsters spawned normally then, maybe monsters dont spawn when you go there before you're told to go there

I'm afraid you're wrong. I explored the marsh before recruiting Quina at the first possible moment (had to go back after the water boss since I never talked to him/her/it AFTER catching the frog lol). Got a random encounter on the area left of the moogles.

Best bet is to turn on the turbo mode booster and just run in circles.

The left and right areas have slightly better encounter rates in my experience, so instead of running back and forth in the first area, run left and right in the side areas, you might be luckier that way.

I can confirm. Go to the right and just run back and forth. Got a couple of encounters fairly quickly.

So happy to see is not just me, I thought I was going mad! I will try the suggestion of running around the side areas. I hope that works. Many thanks!
