You can cheat in jump-rope. Easy 1000 trick inside.
With this port they added the use of your mouse.

You can click the explination mark above your head to activate the jump.

THERE IS NO FAIL, CLICKING TO SOON WONT MAKE YOU TRIP :D

Literally just have to spam the left mouse button over your head to win.

SUPER easy.

YOU ARE ALL WELCOME. NOW GO PLAY THE DAMN GAME! THIS ISNT JUMP ROPE SIMULATOR.

Except, and I'm not saying you're wrong, but assuming the clicks work just like the button pressing, you can jump too early and fail. So I'm not sure that this would actually work.

It doesnt fail. Thus why I posted this, if you click to soon it doesnt do anything, i literally just clicked as fast as possible and got 1000 on my third try (finger got tired).

If it is easy for you, I sure would like to have your save file right after the minigame. It's the only thing in the FF franchise I have never succeeded in doing since PS1 era. Else I would have bought it and do a 100% run with 99 of every item/ cards.

Sooo where's your achievement for it, then?
I can see only one for 100 jumps =)

I did this, got to 208 before it broke. though this was probably related to my finger being tired.

Already continued with the game. I'll give this a try later though. Thanks!

Can this be achieved with an autoclicker set to click every 0.01 seconds? I only ask because King of Jump Rope is the only completable I never finished on my PS1 FFIX perfect save.

Trying to get this to work, but the game only picks up auto-clickers if they don't click to fast (on the speech bubbles - can click as fast as you want for walking).. I only got 230 jumps though with an auto-clicker.. Might be a better one out there that works though..

Is that because it starts causing lag on your system due to working too hard or because you can in fact click the bubble too early?

Well it doesn't lag when just walking around, so I don't think you can click the bubble to early... But this is an issue with a lot of games and auto-clicking (or key pressing).. Where it only registers clicks/key presses if they are slow enough.. I know because I tend to make simple auto-battle things for rpg games when I can, so I don't have to manually grind so much.. and its figgity what numbers work with which games..

Nice hint, but its hard before 200 jumps. I hope Auto Cliquer will help! :steammocking:

Autoclicker doesnt work. I tried many settings, like 0.001 sec, 0.010 etc. Always fail. Any idea? With hand i can make 200-230 but sill doesnt 1k :)

Might be down to the jump rhythm changing at 200 to a really awkward "beat"
