These old turn based RPG's are my go too chill games a lot of the time and I'd like to 100% achievement all of them eventually.
I never ended up getting that sword that requires getting near the end of the game in a really short amount of time.. basically speed running the game (not a fan of this playstyle) so speeding up the grind etc will be pretty useful when im just unlocking skills or doing general levelling or minigames etc
But if it does affect the clock it'll make waiting out the clock reset a lot easier too so I can get the sword after that.
I did look for cheat engine tables and there are none that are updated/working even though I found a few.
The game timer runs at normal speed no matter what you do. I managed to get the Excalibur II with like three hours on the in-game clock by using the speed boost!
