FF9 - Festival of the Hunt, Battle Menu Blank, cannot finish

Just got to Linblum and to the Festival of the Hunt. RIght at the beginning of the hunt I fhgt the first Mu outside the Theatre District and POOF! No Battle Menu. I'm forever stuck as I can't execute any commands and Zidane autmoatically tries to run away but can't.

Anyone else has this problem? This game is full of bugs. I can't believe they pushed this game out like this.

Thanks Aaliyah for sharing your experiences too. For the longest time I was thinking I lost my mind. Just when i figured out how to fix the controller after finding different ways to open the game and updating every possible driver I can think of, then this happens. I tried taking out the old PSX, but couldn't find a TV that could play it hahaha!

Hopefully that patch doesn't take as long as FFXV :P

I had that happen once, fixed it by rebooting my computer.

Nope. I might as well bring out my PSX to play FFIX lol. Oh well
