Saves Editor??

Hi all!
A few months ago i've started a new run of FFIX (PSX version) with an emu on my pc, almost reaching the end of the second disc. I would be happy if I could edit the save files of the Steam version to make it equal of the emulated one, so that I should not start it again.

Do you know if it's possible?

PS: i don't mind if it does not trigger achievments

They pointlessly encrypt the files. It may be possible but no one has bothered to break the encryption (and it remains to be seen if it will ever happen).

I tried the trainer. It works perfectly. But, there is a bug. You must NOT edit the values of your charakter having 9999HP and 999MP. That doesn't work. I think it is not possible to get those stats in the normal way. If you put 9999HP and 999MP in, that may cause some battles to crash. Not all battles, only 4-5 in the game, but anyway you can't proceed.

So leave HP and MP at the normal values you reach with charakter level of 99.

Nice! Now i only need the feature to import datas from the epsxe emulator XD

Forget about that emulator stuff, get the PC version and you are golden! ;)

What you can do: Remember well the stats of your current game. Note HP, MP, Items, etc.
Then you get the steam version, make yourself LVL99 and get to the point where you are right now.
Then, if you really want, you can also "downgrade" your charakter back to your current level and you can proceed as you want. How about that?

I have got yet the steam version, and your way seems interesting. The problem is that i was trying to make a perfect run (without excalibur), with all the ATE, objects, chocographs, minigames and target leveling, and i don't want to lose all of that.

So i think i've only to wait and hope ^^
