Great AP/EXP/GIL farm spot after 2nd lindblum visit.

Okay so for this farm spot to work, i hope you kept a save file while zidane and dagger were still in lindblum during the aftermath of the assault on lindblum.

Get to the synthesist and pick up 4 coral rings, these abosrob lightning damage, it also help's if you were smart enough to buy the reflect ring off the auction house in treno several hours ago.

Now after the dialog with cid and such, you'll be back down below the dragon gate in lindblum, i advise stocking up on pheonix downs & tent's.

When you leave lindblum head back to the swamp & pick up quina then leave the swamp, then head to gizamalukes grotto, this was the place you went through with freya, and if you were thorough you no doubt found the 2 moogles and unlocked the vine exit upto Popo's Height's.

This is the area you want to reach, it's on the world map and high up in the mountains, you want to give every character the coral ring so lightning damage heals them, it also greatly helps to give everyone anti-body to negate toxic, if you also have a reflect ring give it to vivi, you really want to have every character learn reflect rings auto-reflect, but luckily enough for this farm you only need coral rings.

Now the forrests here spawn garuda in solo or groups of 2, they have over 6k health and cast firaga, stop, and use an aoe physical/wind attack, they can hit particularly hard versus character without reflect, but luckily viv's wearing a magus hat and using blizara can knock them down pretty hard, zidane with a top quality dual blade, high strength and bird killer can also punish the garuda, but if the character with reflect gets hit with stop, the garuda will stop, and if you win the battle against a stopped garuda you dont earn it's EXP, just it's AP.

HERES WHAT YOU WANT TO FARM : Just strolling the plains you will encounter a grand dragon, they have 13,000 health, and 4600 mana, they carrys elixers & drop ethers and granbd dragon cards, they will use 3 attacks, they will cast thundaga the most powerful thunder spell, on either one or the group, the character with reflect will cast the thundaga back at the dragon for 1400-1900dmg, the dragon also misses often with a poison claw attack 50/50 chance to hit really, and a spew toxic attack, so coral ring + anti body really means this fights only danger is its poison claw. Zidane and Quina should melee attack for roughly 1k each, and vivi should blizara for 1500-2000dmg, the fight should only take 2minutes at most, and the dragon has a fast atb so you only need to watch out for it's poison claw.

ON DEATH THE DRAGON GIVES 35,000EXP split between 4 characters this is 8800 each, he also gives 3900 GIL if quina has millionaire.

I went from levels 25 and daggers lv16 to all character's level 40, and i only had 1 coral ring, 2 characters with auto reflect, and one character dying heaps, i used up about 10 tents, and made about 60 grand gil. Now all the enemies and bosses leading upto and including the new continent can suck it.

That one's incredibly risky, you dont have reflect or coral rings by then, and you end up suing ether and pheonix downs.

I'm just saying that there have been multiple threads stating where to encounter the Grand Dragon. Creating this thread was just adding to the already plentiful amount of threads that really don't need to exist. I'm not being mean, mind you. I'm just letting you know that people have already been told where to encounter Grand Dragons early on.
