Ragtime Mouse problem

I met Ragtime Mouse 4 times early in the game and it was no problem, spent just 10-15 minutes. Now Im trying to meet it again with Zidane team after Trento. I have spent more than 1 hour browsing forests, did every trick (short movements, save and load in forest, etc.) but cant meet Ragtime Mouse even once. Maybe it happened because of the last patch?

You can encounter him 4 times (questions 1-4) from the start of the game to before arriving at the Outer Continent.

You can encounter him another 6 times (questions 5-10) when arriving at the Outer Continent to before getting the Blue Narciss.

You can encounter him the remaining 7 times (questions 11-16 and the result encounter) after getting the Blue Narciss."
So yeah, most guide's are wrong with their disc 1, disc 2 etc stuff.

Make sure to only explore forests when trying to encounter ragtime mouse. I found him frequently around black Mage village forests! :)

So, if I only got 5 total encounters with him, I can't get the remaining 10 on disc 4?

On disc 4, you should be able to get all 16 events at once if you need to.

What helps... Is to tap the direction buttons. Your threat meter (The thing that makes you have random battles) only goes up when you make full steps, but doesn't effect the Ragtime Mouse, so stutter-stepping on disk 4 in a Forrest will get you all 16 super quick (You will still get occasional random battles though).

The second set of questions are unlocked when you arrive on the Outer Continent.

As for the final set of questions, they are unlocked when you get the Hilda Garde 3, NOT the Blue Narciss. I know, because I suffered through several hours of grief before figuring it out.
