Can u reach lv99 without any cheat?

Last time i complete this game at lv 70ish, is there any tips to reach lv 99?

theres an island in the center of the world map, they give a lot of experience but are kinda hard monsters, go there to get a good challenge and level up.

Against Yans (tiny rams of murder)
Have everyone with insomniac equipped, and preferably with Auto-Life/Auto-Haste
Quina: Cast Night
Dagger: Summon Atomos (just because it's an easy and cheap way to reach 9999 magic damage)
Then finish of with anything that's strong enough to deal over 8000 damage to all enemies, like Cherry Blossom, Climhazzard or something.

If your Atomos is too weak, get 99 Amethysts by spamming Jewel on weak monsters, then synthing the Ores into Amethysts in Daguerro. At 99, you will be guaranteed 9999 damage against Yans even without the full summon animation.

Chimeras in Memoria are still worth a lot of experience on their own... fighting the Yans can be frustrating, especially if you win with all your party under the Virus status.

yeah those yans are very fun, when your at high level is cool to get some monsters that can give you a challenge to be honest i just hate grinding and killing same monster over and over again...but i gues those yans would be a blast to grind. lol

I just did, got all my characters to lvl 99 today. Took down ozma with ease and now Im pretty much done with the game.

Tips
-if u want to stat max start doing it asap, I wont get into here but there are guides on gamefaq
-It will be a long boring gameplay
-Go to popo's island(near gizamaluke grotto), fight grand dragons the rest of the way if u want
-if you get to lvl 60s-70s, u can attempt yans on vile island with death spell cheeses, but Im still not sure if its that efficient since they usually get 2 moves for your 1 move everytime dragging the fight out making it non efficient. I started fighting yans around lvl 80 when my characters can actually hit 9999 consistently so that i can 2 shot them.
-My rule of thumb on grinding, if it takes ur entire party to atk and more then u are not lvling efficiently and should fight something weaker. I usually try to train in places I can 2 shot a monster.
-When one of you char reaches lvl 99 first switch them out for a fresh member or in the case of zidane just have him virus from either yans or chimera in memoria and continue farming grand dragons. Lvl 99 characters will still gain exp so virus if u are still goin to use them.
-U can lvl up even faster if u wanted to if u kill/virus off 3 of the other party members and solo it with 1 person. the person alive or virus will get their portion of exp as well as the other 3 members. U can lvl up 5x faster doing this and using the level up ability. The con of doing this is having 1 beefed up character and the rest weak.

For those of u that are curious. If you are lvl 99 and turn on the lvl99/99 mag stone cheat afterwards, your characters will still retain any prior extra stats u gained yourself. Also if you are not lvl 99 yet and equip the stat maxing items, u will not gain any of those extra stats if u turn the cheat on. I only used the cheat cuz it was the only way to gain 99 magic stone and I already had everybody lvl 99.

I max like 6 characters before i realized you can press J for autobattle.. So basically I juz let the rest of my toons autobattle for the day while i watch youtube videos.

Autobattle is the best tip to level 99. Let lvl 99 Zidane have virus from Yan, so his exp can be distributed to the rest of the team.
