Some people were using a mod trick to lower the FPS to make the jump rope game easier. I assume this trick would help a lot for this game as well.
If you dont want to "cheat" the easiest way that I have heard is watching their feet. Its easier to track them that way (by a little bit anyways)
good luck!
What I did was:
1 - downloaded Open Broadcast Software
2 - selected it to record FFIX
3 - played the suffling game and didn't use the pause button at all
4 - stopped the recording on OBS
5 - watched the video in slow motion
6 - profit
I like how creative people get to beat these silly minigames. I'd of never thought to do that..
I can easily tell how much older than you I am. You'll never have heard of "Turbofire."
But they are earning it, just not how its intended to be earned. For this case.. It's a lot more effort to record and go back over every few seconds of the game is more work then just doing it normally.. Its - easier- but more work.. + you learn how to use a recording program, which you may never of bothered to do..
I think, thinging out of the box to solve the problem when you can't do it normally is plenty legit. That is how humans tend to innovate.. But if you don't like it, you don't have to do it... It won't effect your game in anyway if you stay in the box and others leave it...
The slow-mo on the phone only worked so far for me - when they were going too quickly my phone didn't seem to be able to slow them down quite as well...... But with many tries and a lot of patience, the pause trick finally got it done for me.
My best advice: Take small breaks in between.... even in the middle of the round. Just pause and take a breath. Then keep going.
