PS1 Saves Transfer to PC
I'm wondering, is it possible to transfer my saves from the PS1 Version (I was playing the original disks on the PS3) to the Steam/PC version? I've looked around and have yet to find a definite answer.

Nope but can it be converted ?
That is a good question.

People have applied mods here that converts FFX saves from PS3/PS4/Vita to the PC port.

But that is the same game though lol, FFIX PS1 and PC is a different game. Would love to be able to transfer it though. I share your hope lol

They pointlessly encrypt the saves. Don't ask me why it is ridiculous. There is also extremely bizarre stuff going on when the game runs with stuff shuffled around in RAM, which made me give up trying to figure out how to force virus status on everyone, when someone asked if it was possible to prevent leveling. I have no clue if anyone else figured out how the madness of shuffling RAM locations works to narrow that one down.

Unless someone bothers to crack the encryption the only option is sharing existing saves (which you can do).
