How to transfer save?

Can i transfer my desktop save to my laptop so i can play it on that? Cant figure this out

If cloud saving is enabled, your laptop should be able to fetch the save from the cloud.

Ah maybe i didnt turn it on my laptop. Ill check

You can either use the cloud saves (Which I've found unreliable) or you could navigate to C:\Users\(YOUR USERNAME HERE)\AppData\LocalLow\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY IX\Steam\EncryptedSavedData and copy paste the DAT file in there to a flash drive and take it to your laptop and put it in the same place there. Not as convenient as the cloud but its more reliable.

The thing is that you need to upload your save everytime you want to download it somewhere else. It doesn't work as stated, and it's the only way apart from the obvious file copying.
