DIYNG IN BATTLE question

if a char dies in battle will resurrect after battle or you loose him for ever ?

You will lose him forever, better make sure you keep them alive otherwise you will keep recruiting frogs and mus to continue the story

if they die in battle you don't lose them forever, use a pheonix down or the life spell to revive them in and out of battle. If they die in battle and you don't revive them they won't receive EXP for that fight.

Lol you cant lose any character whatsoever in this game, you can always revive them when you choose to.

No you don't lose any character forever.
Yes, by going to an Inn and a Tent does it too if i recall.

by going to an Inn and a Tent you don't lose any character forever.

I dont know if you are kidding or not but here is the truth! The character don't die. They are knocked out when HP = 0.
You can NEVER lose a character even if you "die" with them (when there HP reaches zero). If that happens you will have to use an item called Phenix down on them in the early stages of the game since you dont have the revive ability on you characters. You don't have to use the phenix down in battle, you can do so after the battle but a character that is KO:d (zero HP)wont recieve EXP points (for the KO:d character ) if that characters ends the battle in that status.

You CANNOT use TENT to revive a character, not so sure about INN but they only restore your HP and MP. Use steal alot with Zidane and he will manage to steal some from enemies, and you can always buy phenix down from any item store. Make sure you always have a couple potions with you, so you characters HP doesn*t reach zero.

Also if you will lose main character (Zidane) not only you are losing him forever but also your save is deleted because all other party members are just mercanaries.

I've had that happen to me before, it sucked

It's not really a bad idea to let the party members die permanently since the recruitable frogs are actually quite powerful when used as pure spell casters.

But if you run out of those a script will kick in that summons a giant Sloar creature that devours the player (and I'm not talking about your on-screen character..).
