Dual Joy Stick Movement?!
So this is very odd. I'm have to use both joysticks on my PS4 controller to move. The Left joystick controls up and down movement, while the right stick controls me going left or right. Has anyone else had this problem?!

I am using a PS4 controller with the DS4 program. I did do the "Hide DS4 Controller" int the settings like I have seen other people suggest for other problems.

Any idea on what is causing this?!

I don't know offhand, but I do know just yesterday I saw an old video where a let's player was experiencing the same thing as you, and I recall she was using a PlayStation controller (I don't know which version). Maybe she found out how to fix it? I didn't watch the whole series (or even the whole video), but it was this one:

Just generally speaking with other games, I find Steam can do weird things so it might help to make sure you have Steam support off as the game might handle your controller better without it. (Unfortunately, it will still give you Xbox controller prompts regardless though, from what I recall. Maybe someone has done a mod for this like with Hollow Knight? I'll have to check into that later.)

Yeah, i downloaded the mod for PlayStation buttons. But I will look into turning off the Steam support.

I have the same problem with the PS4 controller when I used. The left rocker is only up and down, and the right rocker is only left and right.
The key sorting is a mess, and I even want to find other xbox controller to try.

I have one suggestion, if you didn't try it already: Wait and plug your controller in only after the credits screen (with Square Enix logo) comes up. For some reason, the game can't handle controllers that well if you have them plugged in beforehand.

None of the solutions on here helped :( However found my wired Rock Candy and that works just fine. So my solution is not to use Bluetooth! Not with PS4 anyways.

Steam games shouldnt require you to use DS4windows, I find the best way to use a controller wiht steam games is to use big screen mode

Still haven't found a solution for the Bluetooth situation. However I have just plugged in the PS4 controller via a cord and it reads it perfectly fine. (my rock candy broke :( )

I can relate to what you said, as I was frustrated with the issue yesterday but I’m trying to find help on here and Facebook. :Chrono_e:
