Little Advice: Don't be OCD - Iifa Tree

So, I have spent a good amount of time levelling up as I made my way towards and through Disc 2, taking advantage of the speed booster and infinite spawning enemies, and such.

So after awhile I got to the Iifa tree, with my whole party being level 60. Up until now, I did not understand the mechanics of the "Lvl 5 Death" spell... but after having spent over and hour, and 20 failed attempts at the Soulcage boss... I decided to google the spell "Lvl 5 Death" This spell will instantly KO any and all active party members, whose level is divisible by 5. (So; 5/10/15/20/25, etc.)

If you've got any sort of OCD, and level 5 levels at a time, for the love of all that is holy... try go into this battle with a non-divisible by 5, level─ or you're going to be confused, and frustrated.

Personally, I disregarded the name of the spell entirely, and ended up falling victim to something that could have been easily avoided... I could likely one shot it using MP Attack, and not have to deal with this at all, but I need to steal the items present on that overgrown vine...

So, for anyone currently on their way through the game, when you arrive at the mountain pass, and can see the tree on your horizon─ level at least 1 character to an odd level.

so its been a very long time since i played but if i remember right you can just phoenix down that boss

Killing it was not the issue, the issues was staying alive more than one turn to steal the 2 valuable items. :)

yes like it said lvl5 death all charc 5to95 even i didnt know i used phoenix down on my characs and easly killed the boss with an elexier and its gone oak stuff and magical cloak(conde petie/blackmage village)both item @cd2 and brigandine you can get also later alex/trena/lind/ cd3
