Bug - music doesn't stop
Not sure if this bug is in the original or introduced by Moguri, but in the sequence where you escape from Alexandria after rescuing Garnet/Dagger, the music doesn't stop. Eventually (around where you're fighting bandersnatches), the music that's supposed to play for most of that sequence kept going AND the intended soundtrack ALSO played, resulting in a horrible mish-mash of two different musical pieces, or else two out-of-sync renditions of the same one.

It got absolutely intolerable at the boss fight when the gargant suddenly stops on you - the boss theme and the escape theme clash so badly I couldn't concentrate enough to play and had to ALT-F4 out of the game. I have some sensory issues and absolutely can't stand having two clashing sources of music going, it basically makes me Hulk out, but I can't imagine it being pleasant or completely okay for anyone.

Has anyone else experienced this? I thought I'd read about a similar issue somewhere, but a quick search of this forum turned up nothing.

I haven't been able to test this myself, as I'm having my own issues with modding the game, but I believe that Sounds Fix v2.2 is supposed to fix this issue. I believe that the original forum post got taken down for it, but I have this: https://mega(dot)nz/file/PLhnWSJZ#D7G3-EtZJVSSMVP4hgN2wDYCgr5z_zeVb6WLRfJFhsQ (replace the (dot) with a period)

If you still have the controller-input issue then try unplugging the controller while the game runs and plug it after a few seconds back in - it fixed it for me
