Idea for FFXVI main characters fan art struck me inspired by FFIX main characters

A vision I had for FFXVI was a setting that reminded of FFIX with a new black mage, knight and a thief etc as main characters with a distinct look like in FFIX. The idea that struck me was
the main character being a mix between Zidane and Squall like brown haired but a bit short like Zidane with a scar and facial features that reminds both a bit of Squall and some of Zidane with a tail and clothes being a brown leather west and weapon being a spear with a flint on it like a "tribe". I was considering making some pictures of it in photoshop. Who liked the vibe of my idea?and which FF fan wouldn't want a new black mage like ViVi except with much new for FFXVI?

Main cities reminiscent of Lindblum except with much, much more and continents you could travel to by airship.

I realise Square themselfes will of course go for something else but I had fun playing with the idea of FFXVI being more of a tribute to the style of IX. Female lead isn't that important for me. Agni's philosophy is just a tech demo.

I was outing an idea I had for a character for the next mainline FF that was inspired by Zidane like thin and a bit short with a tail mixed with abit of the vibe from Squall. It's just fan art. I know Square can come up with a better idea of course. What do you mean by nightmare?
