Soundfix 2.1 totally broke my Moguri Mod and World Textures, thanks to the autopatcher in the Moguri Folder, I got everything back in one click =) this tweak for the sounds made the names appear twice during fights too, I saw someone talking about this.
PS/ I use a moguri mod I installed like 7 months ago, I heard the new one had trouble ?

EDIT : does a mod for the world map 2D pictures (small one + large one with SELECT in-game ) exist and is compatible with Moguri Mod?

Hi, is there anyway of changing the music when the mod's been installed?

just tried this mod and i am so dissapointed. I didn't like the custom font and the orchestrated soundtrack so i tried to uninstall it. now the names of the characters are written twice like vivivivi or zidanezidane. i uninstalled the game and installed it again and i have the same problem. the problem is fixed when i install the mod without the custom font but i have issues with the map and the dots of the locations. i also have problems with the battlefield when i try some magic like blizzard the magic lands next to the character. why the hell is this happening even when i uninstalled the mod?

Magic landing next to the character is because you have widescreen support in memoria.ini enabled.

I suggest you uninstall the game and completely delete the game's folder, and then reinstall it. And next time you install moguri, read through the install instructions carefully before mindlessly clicking "next". You can disable the custom font in moguri.ini and can also simply not install the orchestrated OST.

And yes, if you use widescreen, because the game was only developed to be 4:3, there will be some graphical oddities including all magic spells hitting to the left of targets. I, personally, learned to live with it and enjoyed how widescreen shows some more of some backgrounds than you'd normally see, but if the issues bother you then set it to a 4:3 resolution with black borders.

Last month I played the whole game through with moguri mod including sidequests and Ozma and really liked the mod other than 2 things:
1. It pauses ATB when you are in an ability selection menu, making the game easier.
2. It disables the 2x speed option the Steam version normally gives you when you press Start then R1.

At one point 30+ hours in I messed with the moguri files and ended up with the double-name situation. Uninstalling then re-installing the mod fixed this without making me restart the game.

1. That's a setting in the game. Press Triangle/Y, go to config and set ATB to "active" instead of "wait". Nothing to do with Moguri.
2. Set "Enabled = 1" under [Cheats] in moguri.ini. If you want the speed cheat, make sure SpeedMode is set to 1.

This has been like my fantasy mod for this game. I remember reading about how the original artwork had to be compressed and scaled back due to the limitations of PS1. Was always kind of disappointed by that. I didn't realize this was out until about an hour ago; as i've been away from IX for a while now. So I've just installed it and see it's running properly, wanted to say thanks so much for this mod it's freaking awesome!

Hey, so I went ahead and checked. Did tests on a fresh install of the game and on a game patched with Moguri mod, and both behaved the same in Active mode - enemies and allies moved while I browsed submenus (Wht Magic/Blk Magic).

Are you sure you had active mode on? Were you using other mods? Was the setting Speed under [Battle] in memoria.ini set to 0? (0 is the default but just checking).

I haven't used the mod, but right away that sounds to me like the battle-intro and not the battle itself. The original had famously awfully long battle intros, with a moderately long swirl and then an outrageously long pan around the party. (Even without mods, the newer versions allow shortening that to a point.)

Hello there. I'm having a problem with installing the mod. When I'm in the install wizard and click "Install", it tells me I have insufficient space on one of the drives I'm installing the mod on. The thing is, I have 157 GB on my D: drive, the one I'm using for the installation. I'm guessing the installer think I'm installing to C:, which is like 4 GB short of required space. Even though I've changed the install path to a folder on D:. I can't clear my C: drive, unfortunately. Why is this happening?
