The Festival of the Hunt achievement

It looks like Vivi is the worst option for winning reward wise, but you get an achievement. Is there reason to keep him as the winner such another achievement or a skit later on worth seeing, or would you suggest replaying with a different winner?

Nah, it mostly exists because the only real way to possibly get Vivi to win is to fail so badly in the Hunt that you have to have purposely failed. It's basically rewarding choosing an option no one would normally think of.

It only depends on what reward you want.
The card is rare, but can have it elsewhere.
Freija get a great an accessory at this moment of the game
Djidane only get gils and even is 5.000 is always welcome in early game, you can have this money just by fighting monsters. But for the RP, it's better if Djidane wins.

Freyja winning is the best option, IMO, that accessory gives you access to skills you don't otherwise get until much later down the road. Instantly making it worth it. But Zidane is indeed a nice secondary (and shockingly the easiest one to get).

Overall you are correct, but let me nitpick a bit. Freya is the easiest to get. It can be done by outright suiciding with Zidane in the very first battle. Also, while the Festival is generally pretty easy if you know what you are doing, for new players it can be quite hard to get a lead if they don't equip new gear, Beast Killer and all that jass. Dieing to a beast or missing the Zaghnol entirely all cause Freya to win.

Okay, true enough. I think by Easy I mostly meant it's the result most people stumble into without trying.
