Movement Issues
The game runs great until I need to take control of my character. It forces my character to move right, and I am unable to move any other direction. I've read various post from as recent as May 2016 and tried various fixes to no avail. Before I submit for a refund, I was going to see if anyone more recent has been able to solve this issues. Also to note, I was able to make it to the first fight with the boss and it does not impact combat in anyway (i.e. it doesn't make me select the most right menu option).

I have a PC.
I'm running Window 10 64 bit
I have a wireless XBox One Controller
I've uninstalled it, and reinstalled the drivers (and tried to update them)
I've tried unplugging my keyboard and mouse before and after lauching the game
I've tried using my wired Xbox 360 controller (as above)
I've tried plugging the controllers/keyboard/mouse in different USB ports
I've restarted my comp inbetween the above fix attempts

If anyone has any simliar experiences or fixes, I will gladly try them. Any help is appreciated. I would love to play to this game, but a refund request is approaching nigh.

Thank you,
Von

I can't get past the menu, the cursor is stuck at the bottom menu selection.
I can't figure it out either.

Same issue; I'm able to 'play' but in any character movement I go to the left. Unplugging/restarting all that good stuff does nothing. It even does it with just the keyboard.

I am running this game under the same win10 environment with no issues. Are you using the controller, wirelessly (either via a dongle or via the newer Bluetooth) or is it plugged into usb? I have mine plugged into a usb 3.0 port. Hope this helps.

Wired, but even when unplugged; and only in the overworld, I move to the left. Was going to play it with just the keyboard, but even then, always left.

I have the reciever plugged in the USB port. I tried a couple of diferent slots with no luck. I went ahead and had it refunded for now. I'll probably try again later down the road when it's on sale again. Thanks for the suggestion.

Any Razer products plugged in?

I myself did not. I use a Logitech Keyboard and a Microsoft Mouse. Other devices that were plugged into the USB at the time inclue Oculus Rift components, and speakers.

actually; I'm running Razer

I sorta had the same issue, except i was using a ps4 controller with the DS4 software, i'v read that you unplug the controller before you start the game, than plug back in the controller and it works (in my case i start the game->alt+tab->run software->plug controller->works. I hope that helps...

I get this issue with a wireless 360 controller and also running Windows 10. I haven't tried everything just yet. Waiting until I'm in-game to turn the controller on didn't seem to help. But I guess I could still try disconnecting/disabling the wireless adapter until getting in-game. Then hook it all back up and see if that works. May also try disconnecting/disabling the wireless adapter and try playing on kb/m.

Maybe some of that will work for me, but this has been disappointing so far. It's also a bit surprising to me because controller support is something I've felt that SE often gets right. They even did it for their mmorpgs(XI & XIV). A genre that often ignores controller support.

Hey! found the problem on my side. I'm personally not using the 360 controller or any controller at all. But I had tried my Logitech, gave up and moved on to trying to make it work on my razor pad or my razor keyboard. The problem consisted even when I unplugged them and I had tried every single guide out to try to make it work. I actually fixed it doing what others had done (unplugging everything) but only leaving my mouse plugged in. Once I got into the game I was able to plug back in my keyboard and gamepad and I've had no issues thus far.

Using a PS4 controller with DS4Windows & Windows 10.

What fixed it for me was going into the DS4Windows settings tab and making sure "Hide DS4 Controller" was checked. No more movement issues for me (so far).
